Felt making is the oldest textile making process in the world. It uses 100% wool (and sometimes other natural fibres), soap and water plus rubbing, rolling and a little magic! The only tools required to make this woollen textile are your hands.

Born in Belfast in the 1970’s, she now works from her home in Maynooth, Co. Kildare, surrounded by fibre, up to her elbows in soap lather, dancing to the radio, chatting with the three kids and whooshing the cat off the table!
