About the maker: 

Ceramicist Lynda Hassin is based in Country Tyrone. Here she creates her own range of hand built porcelain vessels and jewellery.

“I hand built each piece meaning no two are ever identical. I imprint into, draw and write onto the porcelain surface to create my individual fabric-like style”
Lynda studied Contemporary Applied Art at Cumbria Institute of the Arts in Carlisle. While at college she loved working between disciplines, weaving a piece of cloth and imprinting it into the clay. The jewellery and ceramic workshops were side by side so Lynda was often found sneaking into the jewellery department which has led to her complementary ranges.
