About the Maker: 

Joel graduated with a First Class Honours Jewellery Degree from Belfast School of Art. He has received commissions, exhibition opportunities and awards, and after working for The Steensons jewellers commenced his own jewellery business.

HIS contemporary silver jewellery ‘Tactility’, focuses on the need for tactile engagement in today’s society, capturing the imagination through movement and simple, elegant, geometric design. ‘Tactility’ facilitates natural curiosity in this digital age, inviting touch, manipulation and play. The designs are, influenced by the cultural and material environment encountered whilst studying abroad in Latvia, resonate postmodernist and brutalist architecture.
