About the Artist

Sarah, the creator of Ertha Pottery, works from her studio in her home in East Belfast, Northern Ireland. She is inspired by the idea of aesthetic functionality, believing that the objects we use daily should bring joy to our everyday lives. Ertha comes from the Old English word for clay—the very essence of the Earth itself.
