‘Constructed’ pendant in oxidised sterling silver by Egle Banyte. Handmade in co.  Tyrone, Northern Ireland.

An eye catching 3D design hand made in oxidised silver, meant to be worn as a statement piece. This piece will elevate any outfit with its simplicity and strong lines.  The contrast between the oxidised silver and the red silk cord, the mix of materials and textures are all marks of a contemporary style.

About the maker:

Egle Banyte is an award winning jewellery designer and maker based in West Tyrone, Ireland. Her work is inspired by her youth in Lithuania, Baltic tradition, Constructivism, and Northern European aesthetics. Egle’s work is handcrafted using traditional techniques and materials, yet manifesting a contemporary style. In 2018, Egle was awarded a Goldsmiths’ Company Precious Metal Grant; the New Designers Goldsmiths’ Company Jewellery Award; and a Future Makers Award by the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland. In 2019, she was awarded the RDS Craft Award.
