Leaf print Irish Linen tea towels with hanging tag by Gail Kelly. Handmade in County Down, Northern Ireland
Turquoise and white. Gail was inspired by leaf patterns found in her garden; these were hand carved into a linocut design to develop a repeat pattern which was then screen printed onto union linen.
Approximate size: 74 x 45 cms
100% natural materials. Machine washable at 40 degrees.
About the maker:
‘My linocuts printed on Irish linen are inspired by the countryside where I live along with local folklore and traditions. I also make hand stitched linen collages inspired by the gorgeous gardens and beautiful landscapes I see on my travels in Britain and Ireland.’
