‘Aptly named, an individual Song Thrush can have up to 100 phrases at its disposal. A male will riff loudly all day, enthusiastically repeating ones he likes; moving on after a couple if he’s not feeling it. The song is so incessant you wonder how he doesn’t drop out of his tree with exhaustion’
