Ebonised Ash sculptural black cat toy with hand-painted eyes and metal bolts. This unique wooden toy is based on the maker’s own cat. With movable legs, tail and head.

About the Maker:
“I am interested in making sculptural work which explores a simplicity of line and form, while looking for symmetry and balance.
My working methods have an affinity to vernacular woodworking techniques. Folk carving and primitive sculpture are also an influence, with their directness of approach to both materials and method.”
